"Late Winter/ Early Spring" were created at the same time as the tsunami and the earthquake hit the shores of Japan. It was the late winter and early spring.

It was initially an idea in mind: two semi composed, half improvised pieces for four players: clarinet, flute, piano, bass. Something 'airy', close to contemporary music.

Finally, leading to another, two musicians have established themselves and have brought their own vision of two pieces. So my project with other musicians has turned into a true trio."

Bruno Duplant. April 2011.

Bruno Duplant (France) and Paulo Chagas (Portugal) play regularly together for over three years, either as a duo, or with other musicians (mostly friends) as Lee Noyes, Phil Hargreaves, Vanessa Rossetto, Rachael Wadham, Philo Lenglet, Fernando Simőes, Paulo Duarte, Monsieur Trinité, etc... Many projects have resulted in recordings and publications, others wait...

David Sait (Canada) is an experimental improviser who attempts to stretch the musical vocabulary of the guzheng (21 stringed Chinese zither). He is an active member of AIMToronto (Association of Improvising Musicians Toronto). Recent recordings include: Postage Paid Duets Vol. 1 with Eugene Chadbourne (banjo/guzheng), Postage Paid Duets Vol. 2 with Glen Hall, Gino Robair & LaDonna Smith (guzheng w/ woodwinds, violin/viola/erhu, percussion) and the new compilation CD "Sixty Interpretations of Sixty Seconds".
